Luxury has always been about making life easier, more comfortable, and undeniably stylish. For centuries, that meant fine materials, handcrafted details, and bespoke furniture.

But today, luxury has expanded beyond aesthetics — it’s about how seamlessly your home adapts to you.

In Chennai, where life moves fast and expectations run high, homeowners are no longer content with beauty alone. They want homes that think, adjust, and respond — spaces that are as intelligent as they are elegant. Imagine a living room that shifts from bright and airy in the morning to cozy and ambient by evening, all without you lifting a finger. That’s the new language of luxury.

Where Technology Meets Style

Imagine walking into your home and with a gentle voice command, mood lighting adjusts, curtains draw back, and soft music begins. This is ambient control. It is convenient and smart.

A lot of homeowners are turning to seamless automation—be it app-powered lighting, climate-responsive AC systems, or voice-enabled control—for an effortless touch of elegance woven into everyday life.

Even security no longer demands visible hardware. Biometric locks, motion sensors, and discreet surveillance are now standard in every house. Every element is designed to blend into the décor while delivering peace of mind.

Functional beauty isn’t an afterthought; it’s integral to our approach.

Homes are also slowly becoming immersive zones for leisure and connection. Think custom acoustic home theaters tucked elegantly into interiors, or multi-room audio systems that blend into furnishings.

These are not just gadgets. They’re ambient experiences, designed to indulge, engage, and elevate the way families live.

Sustainability Woven with Smart Living

One’s approach to luxury shouldn’t just be smart, it should also be thoughtful. True sophistication today lies in how consciously we design our spaces. After all, what good is a beautiful home if it comes at the cost of the environment?

Smart living allows sustainability to slip seamlessly into your daily routine. Incorporate

  • Energy-efficient appliances,
  • Automated lighting, and
  • Climate control systems.

These appliances prioritize sustainability, efficiency, and cost savings over time. It’s the kind of forward-thinking design that respects both our planet and your lifestyle.

Sustainable designs also go beyond these appliances. It’s about designing homes that breathe with natural ventilation, strategic windows for daylight, and materials that last longer with less impact.

What sets Vibrant Spaces apart is not just the technology—it’s the precision with which it’s executed. With over 2,500 projects completed, our designs are crafted with exacting finesse, durability, and aesthetic coherence—making smart truly sublime.

A Future You Can Live In

Smart luxury is no longer science fiction, but an everyday delight. By weaving technology into the core of design, Vibrant Spaces transforms homes into intuitive, secure, and serene environments. It’s this invisible choreography of elements that turns a house into a sanctuary.

When thinking about sacred spaces, the artistry and architectural brilliance of temples often come to mind. For those seeking inspiration for their pooja room interior designers in Chennai or ideas for mandir interior design, the temples of India provide unparalleled inspiration.

These are more than just places of worship; they are testament to India’s rich heritage and craftsmanship.

1. Kedarnath Temple, Uttarakhand

Nestled high in the Himalayas, Kedarnath Temple is not just a place of worship, but a marvel of ancient engineering. Believed to be built by the Pandavas, this temple stands at an altitude of 3,800 metres, enduring harsh weather conditions and the test of time. Its architecture, in the traditional Rekha-Shikhara style, showcases the resilience and spiritual significance of this sacred site. Despite being ravaged by floods in 2013, the temple miraculously survived.

2.  Mahabodhi Temple, Gaya, Bihar

The Mahabodhi Temple is not only a sacred site for Buddhists but also a sighting of ancient brick architecture. Built in the 5th-6th centuries, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is an elegant representation of early Indian temple architecture. The towering shikhara and serene statue of Buddha inside the sanctum create a tranquil atmosphere, perfect for meditation and reflection.

3.  Kandariya Mahadev Temple, Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh

The Kandariya Mahadev Temple offers so much more than what Khajuraho is famous for. Rising 30 metres high, this temple is the largest and most ornate in Khajuraho, showcasing the finest examples of Nagara style architecture. Its intricate carvings depict gods, goddesses, and mythical creatures, each more detailed than the last, reflecting the temple’s artistic and spiritual richness.

4.  Dilwara Temples, Mount Abu, Rajasthan

The Dilwara Temples are a group of Jain temples known for their stunning marble interiors. While the exterior might seem understated, stepping inside reveals a world of intricate carvings that are nothing short of mesmerising. The most famous temple, Vimal Vasahi, is adorned with detailed marble work that includes ornate pillars, ceilings, and corridors. This temple is a masterclass in Jain architectural finesse, where every surface is a canvas of devotion.

5.  Modhera Sun Temple, Mehsana, Gujarat

Dedicated to the Sun God, the Modhera Sun Temple is an architectural gem from the Solanki era, built in the 10th century. The temple is divided into three parts: the grand Kunda (water tank), Sabha Mandapa (assembly hall), and Gudda Mandapa (main shrine). The assembly hall’s 52 intricately carved pillars represent the weeks of the year, and the sanctum’s alignment allows the first rays of the sun to illuminate the deity, showcasing the temple’s advanced architectural knowledge.

6.  Kailash Temple, Ellora, Maharashtra

Carved entirely out of a single rock, the Kailash Temple at Ellora is an extraordinary feat of ancient engineering. This monolithic structure is the largest of its kind in the world and is attributed to the Rashtrakuta king Krishna I. The temple complex, with its detailed carvings of deities and epic scenes, reflects a blend of Chola, Chalukya, and Pallava architectural styles, making it a monumental achievement in rock-cut architecture.

7.  Konark Sun Temple, Konark, Odisha

A marvel of the Kalinga style of architecture, the Konark Sun Temple is shaped like a colossal chariot, complete with intricately carved wheels and horses. Built in the 13th century by King Narasimhadeva I, this temple was designed to resemble the chariot of the Sun God. The intricate carvings and massive scale of this temple are awe-inspiring, making it one of the most famous and revered temples in India.

8.  Vitthala Temple, Hampi, Karnataka

Hampi, the former capital of the Vijayanagara Empire, is home to the magnificent Vitthala Temple. Known for its iconic stone chariot and musical pillars, this temple complex is a testament to the artisanship of the Vijayanagara era. The temple’s design, with its majestic Gopuram and intricately carved pillars, exemplifies the grandeur of South Indian temple architecture.

9.  Hoysaleshwar Temple, Halebidu, Karnataka

The Hoysaleshwar Temple in Halebidu is a stunning example of Hoysala architecture. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this temple is famous for its elaborate carvings that depict stories from the Ramayana, Mahabharata, and Bhagavata Purana. The temple’s exterior walls are adorned with a multitude of deities, each meticulously detailed, showcasing the artistic brilliance of the Hoysala artisans.

10.  Brihadisvara Temple, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu

Standing tall in the heart of Tamil Nadu, the Brihadisvara Temple is an epitome of Dravidian architecture. Built by Raja Raja Chola I in 1000 AD, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is known for its grand scale and architectural precision. The temple’s shikhara rises over 60 metres, topped by a massive dome carved from a single stone. The temple’s sheer size and the craftsmanship of its sculptures are a testament to the Chola dynasty’s devotion and architectural prowess.

Each temple tells a story of the era it was built in, the kings who commissioned them, and the artisans who brought them to life. Whether you’re looking for inspiration for your pooja room or simply want to explore the architectural wonders of India, these temples offer endless inspiration.

Simple, elegant, classy – interiors just the way we like it!

If you want interiors that look like they are straight out of a catalogue without breaking the bank, we got you covered! Our team of experts has rounded up some of the best tips to give your dream home a spanking new look even if you are on a shoestring budget. Whether you are a first-time homeowner, or someone on your tenth home decor revamp, here are some simple interior design ideas that can transform your space!

Splurge only on things you use the most

When it comes to decor, the question most of us grapple with is whether we should put the emphasis on opulence, or on functionality. If you focus too much on stylish interiors, you could end up overwhelmed. However, if the attention is on the side of functionality, you may end up compromising on aesthetics. This is why our interior designers in Chennai have devised a fool-proof plan to circumvent this conundrum – identify the parts of your decor that are non-negotiable.

This could vary from family to family. For example, you may have always dreamt of a large and spacious bathroom, or maybe a cosy library filled with your favourite books. Once you identify the aspects of your decor you hold close to your heart, you can build the rest of your interiors around it!

Old is gold

Looking for a slightly rustic aesthetic for your home? Try your hand at thrift stores and auction houses. If you are lucky, you may be able to pick up stunning vintage decor pieces for a fraction of a price you would otherwise! A word to the wise, you may not always strike gold the first time around, but if you keep an eye out, we promise you will not be disappointed!

If this idea sounds appealing to you but you don’t know where to start, we got you covered! Here are some popular thrift stores in Chennai:

  • Old Wood factory (Nungambakkam, Chennai)
  • Old Curiosity Shop (Royapettah, Chennai)
  • Indika (Kottivakkam, Chennai)
  • Rani Arts & Teak (Available online)

Cover up the floors

If there is one place in your home you can’t cut corners, it is your flooring, for obvious reasons! But you can get a luxurious five-star hotel-esque look without breaking the bank with some clever interior design choices. Opt for vinyl floors instead of hardwood floors. It will give you the same feel at a fraction of the cost.

In our opinion, rugs are to homes what shoes are to an outfit – neither is complete without the other! When it comes to how a room looks, it can be a total game-changer, and is more than just decorative. It acts as a visual pathway that draws the eye to the statement decor pieces. Additionally, it is a great way to add texture and patterns to any space, and can also soundproof your room. Using them is a simple and pocket-friendly way to elevate your decor!

Still, confused as to how to decorate your home? Schedule a meeting with the best interior designers in Chennai for a detailed analysis of your home today!

When Is It Time To Replace Your Furniture?

When Is It Time To Replace Your Furniture?

Unlike groceries or medication, your household furniture doesn’t come with a ‘best before’ declaration. But that doesn’t mean they do not have expiration dates. We just need to look a little harder. Our experts have done all the hard work for you and determined the different lifespans, and how to safely dispose of furniture when the time is right.

There are some things TLC can’t fix

Most good sofas have a lifespan of 7 – 15 years, especially if you reupholster it regularly and give it some good ol’ TLC (tender loving care). However, if your couch creaks or shakes every time you sit down, it is a sign to invest in a new one.

Patio seating on the other hand needs to be replaced more frequently. Even the best materials are no match for the wrath of Mother Nature. Being constantly exposed to torrential rain, or the scathing heat can take its toll. Change your outdoor furniture at the first sign of rotting wood or rust, because this usually means there is more damage than meets the eye.

Rest easy, rest safely

Bed frames are meant to be sturdy and can withstand some rough handling. However, you will have to frequently check and tighten the bolts and screws to ensure they last 15 – 20 years. A word to the wise, if your bed starts to make a noise at the slightest touch, get it checked by a professional sooner rather than later.

Bedding, on the other hand, needs to be changed more often. It is good practice to change your pillows every 3 – 6 months, or if it feels deflated to touch, whatever comes first. Our home interior decorators in Chennai recommend you swap out your mattresses every 7 – 10 years to ensure you always get a good night’s sleep.

Where comfort meets function

Your living room furniture is likely to see the most amount of foot traffic, especially since it’s where you will do the most entertaining. Of all the furniture in this space, your coffee table goes through a lot – hot food, dirty feet, scratches, and even an occasional pet or kid jumping on it. If it comes with a laminate finish, the colour tends to fade, and it will visibly seem run down or worn out. Glass tops on the other hand could easily chip, crack or even break. Our best interior designers in Chennai estimate the average lifespan of a coffee table is 5 – 6 years.

While floor rugs elevate the visual appeal of any space, it is also prone to dust and stains. Usually, area rugs in the living room or bedroom can last a whopping 7 – 10 years, whereas it is a best practice to swap out the bathroom rug every 3 months to maintain hygiene.

Ways to safely dispose of your furniture

It can be a difficult decision to get rid of your furniture. But remember that once you have set your mind to it, half the battle is over. Here are a few ideas to safely dispose of your furniture:

  • Contact an organization that can help you recycle
  • Donate to the less fortunate
  • If broken beyond repair, contact your local corporation

To ensure the longevity of your furniture, you can reach out to our experts at Vibrant Spaces. We make most of our furniture in-house, and it goes through 75 stringent checks before it reaches your home. Our pieces also come with a 10-year warranty, so you get nothing but the best with Vibrant.

Make laundry days fun again with these smart utility area design tips

While the kitchen is lauded as the engine of the house, the utility room represents the wheels that spin continuously to keep the train moving forward. For a space that works so hard for you, it is time to give back some love. When designed and planned properly, utility rooms can be an exclusive room for your chores, an extension of your kitchen, and even a place to just escape into. So here are some utility area design tips to spruce up your space.

Peek-a-boo

Most appliances come in limited colour options, but that doesn’t have to restrict your decor options! Why not keep your utilities tucked away from plain sight with rustic textured wooden doors. If that is not an option, use appliance covers to add pops of colour to your space.

Keep the volume down

Open floor plans are great until you have a noisy appliance or two! Install dividers, curtains, etc., to absorb the sound. Mount your appliances on Mass Loaded Vinyl (MLV) and make sure it is not too close against a wall or cabinet to reduce the impact of the appliance vibrations.

All that is pretty is nice

After securing and stowing away the appliances, it’s time to talk aesthetics! Adding a rug to the utility room can help keep your feet warm (because who likes the feel of bare feet on a cold floor), and serve as a focal point. If you are looking for durability over form, opt for stainless steel countertops that can withstand regular wear & tear, and occasional spills.

Multiple personalities

Do more with your utility room and transform it into a multifunctional space by integrating some functional must-haves. For instance, a small tub can serve be placed to soak heavily stained garments as well as an exclusive spa station for your pets. Talk to our expert team of interior designers in Chennai to see how to make this work for your space. Have kids at home? With a few hanging hooks, create a dedicated space for them to hang up their sweaty clothes, shoes, and sports gear so they don’t have to mix with your daily wearables.

Don’t forget the walls

Make your space feel fresh and open with hues of blues, greens and off-white or go vibrant with an accent wall with textured wallpaper. If you have limited space in your room, why not install a backsplash instead? Make use of the vertical space by mounting iron boards, hanging racks et also you can fold them out of your way based on your need.

Complement your room with plants like Chrysanthemum, Lady palm, Snake plant, Lavender, Tea Rose Begonia. Not only are they stunning to look at, they are known to be natural air purifiers and absorb odors. So, call in the fam, and make laundry a fun family exercise with these utility area design tips.

Your home should tell a story of who you are, and be a collection of what you love!

But if you live in a rented apartment this can be a challenge, especially if your landlord has drawn up an iron-clad rental agreement! However, we are not going to let a little thing like rules get in the way of creating a cozy home, are we? We have rounded up some decor ideas for rental apartments that don’t just involve adding accessories and paraphernalia!

Jazz up the walls

Repainting your home can be tedious, especially if you live in a rental. However, it is not the only way to overhaul your home. Opt for contact paper (the lesser-known cousin of Vinyl) instead!

Contact paper wall

Compared to wallpaper or vinyl, it is the cheaper and thinner alternative. Not to mention, the umpteen number of ways you can style it. You can cut it to your desired shape and install them, or put up whole sheets. The result is a visually stunning wall! But we suggest you take this beyond walls and enliven some old furniture begging for a much needed glam job!

Textured ceiling tiles

Textured 3D wallpapers on your ceilings are another alternative that will elevate your bare home. With a dizzying array of options, we mean quite literally in certain cases. This works especially well in the case of monotone rooms that add visual interest without taking away from the colour or decor scheme.

Be “floored”

When it comes to styling, don’t take your floors for granted! Just like your walls, you have different renter-friendly flooring options that are functional, yet stylish with easy ‘peel-and-stick’ tiles. That way, you don’t have to worry about your original flooring.

Vinyl tiles/sheets

These look a lot like your regular tiles, making them the best option if you want tiling that looks neat and traditional. They are mostly water-proof and keep your real floor protected, which is perfect for when you have kids or pets. These will peel right off when you vacate the home.

Foam tiles

These are the next-gen foam mats. Since these are cushioned, they feel great on the feet. They work best in smaller spaces like play areas or reading corners.

Multifunctional is the new functional

With rentals, you have to make the best of your existing space. But we know how you can rock that too – multifunctional furniture. You can get these ready-made or custom-built for your space from bespoke furniture designers in Chennai. And the best part is that they come with added storage!

Hydraulic beds

These beds are usually mechanised saving you the effort of manually opening under the bed storage. They take up the same space as a regular bed but offer you more storage than one.

Duty Box wardrobe

Duty box wardrobe

These long compact wardrobes, double as a vanity and extend storage capacity. Their sleek style conceals the storage with a mirror or fancy panel, making your space look less cramped. This is perfect for bedrooms that are on a space crunch. You have a sleek wardrobe as well as a full-length mirror.

You don’t have to stop with just these though. Here are top 5 space-saving furniture options for your homes that can help you inspire your own decor ideas for rental apartments.

Who said renters can’t have fun? In addition to these, you can always brighten up a small space with simple things like a mirror, sheer curtains, and warm lights. So, style up your home with these tips or contact the best budget interior designers in Chennai to get it styled. Your landlord might just pay you back for transforming their house.

Do you feel locked in an age-old quest to find the perfect wardrobe door design for your room? Now, you definitely know the most obvious factor to consider, ie., space. But when it comes to picking the right door, there is so much more to consider. We’ve compiled a guide to help you pick the right door for your home.

Installation

When it comes to setting up your wardrobe, there are two important questions to ask: how much effort does this require and how much will it cost? While conventional hinged wardrobes don’t typically incur additional costs, customised doors need special hinges or fixtures that quickly add up. Additionally, with hinged doors, you have to account for the swing space of the doors right at the design stage. Sliding doors, on the other hand, require a full-track system and skilled technicians to set up making them slightly expensive right from installation. But, since the doors don’t swing open, you can use that additional space for a bigger bed or additional seating!

Maintenance

We all love ourselves a stunning sliding masterpiece, don’t we? But as amazing as that sounds, the track system for the sliding doors needs some tender, loving care from time to time. Hinged doors on the other hand are super easy to maintain, you wouldn’t even need a skilled technician to get the hinges fixed or replaced!

Aesthetics

If you are someone that loves a contemporary and chic wardrobe straight out of the pages of Architectural Digest – a sliding door wardrobe is for you! Since these doors don’t require hinges and involve multiple doors, they are a perfect canvas for a variety of materials to complement the decor of almost any room – making them a styling favourite. On the other hand, if you favour a rustic or vintage appearance, hinged doors would be perfect for your space.

Space

Hinged doors open up at right angles making them a perfect choice for corners, angled walls or designated wardrobe spaces. Since the doors can be fully swung open, these wardrobes can be customized to every square inch –  a tie hanger on the inside of a door, for instance. But when you want a wardrobe for a room with space restrictions, sliding doors are the best fit (shout out to all the studio owners out there!). Since these doors don’t need that extra swing space, you get maximum storage in minimum space – a win-win situation!

Functionality

Sliding doors are the go-to option for a stunning walk-in closet. The functionality of these doors make it easy for you to organise your clothes or visually plan your outfits. But the one big win for hinged doors here is visibility! Sliding doors can be accessed only one door at a time or a section at a time, making it difficult to get a full view of the wardrobe at once. The hinged doors can be swung open completely, giving a clear view of everything inside.

Your wardrobe door design is not something to be taken lightly and should be tailor-made. And we have just the team to help you unlock the wardrobe of your dreams. Whether it’s a chic sliding wardrobe or a rustic hinged wardrobe, with the right interior designers from Vibrant, you don’t need to compromise on style.

Pongal is that time of year in Chennai when we get ready to bid adieu to cold winter days and welcome the warmth of spring and sunshine. It is also the first harvest season of the year. Therefore, creative home interior designers in Chennai use sun and nature motifs to get a space ready for Pongal celebrations.

Here are a few cute ideas to spruce up your space for Pongal.

Go Green

This harvest festival is the time to go all out with greenery. You could decorate your walls with streamers made of mango leaves. Or how about sugarcane sticks with green leaves to anchor the pooja altar? Little touches of nature can make the festival come alive even in urban areas.

Play With Your Rangoli

Home interior designers in Chennai
Rangoli doesn’t just add colour, it can also bring an element of fun to the festivities. If you have the space for it, create elaborate and artistic Rangoli drawings. However, in smaller homes, colourful mandalas bring a celebratory pop to your space. If you are new to drawing rangoli designs, here is a video tutorial of a super cute pattern that even a beginner would be able to pull off.

Nothing says it’s time for festivities like lamps and diyas in the foyer. In most South Indian homes, people use pedestal lamps to light up the entrance during Pongal. However, if space is a constraint, our home interior designers in Chennai have an awesome alternative for you. Try out these traditional diya streamers with LED lights. They are brighter than regular lamps, have a desi charm and don’t take up precious room on the floor. Now, that’s a win-win!

Pongal or Sankranti is when people flock to their rooftops and fill the sky with colourful kites and lanterns. The bright and beautiful Diwali season in India is a period of new beginnings. In this blog, we bring you 5 Diwali decoration ideas to help get your home festive ready without too much fuss.

However, before we put up any decor, we must make room for it.

Make space for prosperity

Clear out clutter and make room for the things that make you happy. Discard anything in your home that hasn’t been used in over a year. This includes clothes, accessories, gadgets and appliances that either don’t fit you or don’t work. Instead, consider spreading the festive spirit by donating these items to the needy.

Now, it’s time for fun!

#1. Create a grand entry

Most Indian homes install floral streamers during Diwali, but they wither within a few days, and end up looking dull. Instead, opt for metal or fabric-based streamers that can easily be cleaned or washed to ensure your front door looks spiffy all year around. To add a magical sparkle to your Diwali celebrations, simply string fairy lights alongside the streamer. You can also hang small bells and wind chimes for a whimsical vibe.

#2. Let everyone have a seat

Diwali is a time of parties as well as poojas. Whether it’s your next-door neighbour popping in for a few minutes or your in-laws staying for a few days, make sure everyone has a seat to get comfy. If space is a constraint, then opt for nifty little ottomans, pouffes and floor cushions that can be easily tucked away when not in use.

#3. Light it up

What is a festival of lights without beautiful, ethereal lighting? Just keep in mind that the lights you choose will influence the aesthetics of your space. For a traditional look, opt for antique pedestal lamps and diyas. On the other hand, scented candles, electric tea lights and LED string lights create a festive vibe while still maintaining a contemporary aesthetic.

#4. Keep it fresh

While they aren’t great for streamers, no list of Diwali decoration ideas is complete without flowers. Sometimes all you need is a bouquet of flowers to liven up your space. Urli bowls and fragrant potpourri are perfectly simple ways to incorporate a subtle floral touch to your home interiors. You can also incorporate flowers in the rangoli.

#5. Add an Indian Touch

Diwali calls for a few quintessentially Indian elements. You cannot go wrong with brass antiques, painted clay diyas, terracotta decor and laughing buddha statues. Rangoli stickers are another quick and easy way to bring a touch of tradition.

That’s it! Those are our top 5 fuss-free Diwali decoration ideas. Here’s to a safe and fun-filled festive season!

Human beings are visual creatures. What we see around us can dictate our emotional, intellectual as well as physical state. This is why as per vastu, colours are said to have a significant impact on the energy of a space.

Vastu shastra is an ancient Indian architectural system that combines traditional Hindu and Buddhist beliefs to lay down certain design principles. It is said that following vastu guidelines while designing your home can attract abundance and prosperity into your life. In this blog, we talk about six vastu colours and how interior designers in Chennai use these shades to attract optimum good vibes.

  • White

White is the go-to choice of colour for many. In vastu, white signifies purity, serenity and peace. Usually, it is the preferred colour for ceilings. Not only does it adhere to vastu rules, from a design perspective it also brightens up a room and creates the illusion of height. This shade is also the top recommendation for the kitchen and bathrooms.

  • Red

The colour of romance, passion and excitement, red is a lovely shade to incorporate into your bedroom, according to vastu. Light red and pink undertones can evoke feelings of love and hence, are recommended for newly-weds. However, bright and deep reds also symbolize anger. For those who have a temper or tend to get agitated easily, it’s best to use small bursts of the hue rather than make it a focal colour.

  • Green

Green exudes positivity. It is the colour of nature, fertility and growth. Vastu shastra highly recommends this shade for spaces that need a soothing vibe. It can be used in varying degrees across the house, from the living room and study to your children’s bedroom. For the simplest way to add a touch of green, bring in a range of potted plants into the space.

  • Yellow

The queen of happiness and illumination, yellow is a fitting shade for those looking to invite wealth and wisdom into their lives. Yellow is at the center of mental energy, hence promoting concentration and power as well. This vastu colour is ideal for your room of worship or study. However, you can skip this colour for rooms that have ample sunlight.

  • Orange

Another hue that is cheery and vibrant, orange is symbolic of spirituality as well as ambition. This vastu colour is a great shade to elevate the mood and is especially recommended for ambitious youngsters. Orange works well in a study room, bedroom, room of worship and even the kitchen. However, as with red, vivid shades of orange are best avoided if you have an agitated temperament. Opt for pastel shades of orange and peach instead.

  • Purple

The royal shade of purple evokes confidence, graciousness and poise. As per vastu, this colour can instill a sense of calm and self-respect in those who constantly question themselves. It can also soothe anxiety effectively as well as promote sleep. A pastel purple, mauve or light violet can make a wonderful shade for your bedroom.

Final Thoughts

Walls are not the only way to incorporate these vastu colours in your home. Furnishings and artefacts can also enhance the vibrations of a space. Before you choose the colour scheme in your home, consider other aspects like natural lighting, direction of the house and the different things that will go into the space to judge what will work best for you to create a home you cherish!
